The processed Terra Pro compost possesses its own chemical, physical, and biological characteristics due to the technology used in its production and is free from pathogenic microorganisms. The compost is at room temperature, has an earthy odor, is dark brown in color, slightly moist, and has a good carbon-to-nitrogen ratio

The processed Terra Pro compost meets the quality standards for organic product certification. It has the Metrocert (Mexico Organic Tradition) certification. OMRI certification is available, on client request. 

The fermentation of the manure is aerobic and is carried out at temperatures of approximately 70º C, completely sterilizing the product by eliminating germs and parasites, reducing the seed germination rate of animal waste to zero.

• It increases soil moisture retention by almost double, thereby helping plants tolerate and better withstand drought conditions.
• It increases the soil's capacity to retain nutrients and gradually releases nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, sulfur, calcium, boron, iron, and other elements that are necessary for plant growth.

The poultry industry, due to its intensive production, has the potential to provide not only eggs and meat but also high-quality organic waste materials such as poultry manure. When properly treated, this waste can be transformed into an excellent organic fertilizer.
